How to reach the venue

The Jean Nouvel Pavilion, located within the Fiera di Genova exhibition area, is well-connected and easily accessible by various means of transport.

Below are detailed directions for your preferred mode of travel.

The nearest airport is Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA).
From the airport, you have several options to reach the venue:

  • Taxi or Private Transfer
    The journey to Via dei Pescatori takes approximately 20–25 minutes, depending on traffic.
    The average fare is €25–35.
  • Volabus + Bus
    Take the Volabus shuttle from the airport to Genova Brignole Train Station (approx. 30 min).
    From Brignole, take a bus (see “Public Transport” section) or a taxi to the Fiera area (approx. 10–15 min).
  • Car Rental
    Several car rental companies operate at the airport. Follow directions to the city center/Fiera di Genova via SS1 or A10.

Genoa’s main railway stations:

  • Genova Brignole (the closest, approx. 2 km from the venue)
    By Taxi: Around 10 minutes.
    By Bus: Take lines 31 or 20 and stop at Fiera or Piazzale Kennedy (10–15 min ride).
    Walking: About 25 minutes through Corso Buenos Aires and Corso Marconi.
  • Genova Piazza Principe (further away but well connected)
    By Regional Train: 7–10 minutes to Genova Brignole, then continue as above.
    By Taxi: Approximately 15–20 minutes directly to the venue.

Genoa is served by operators such as FlixBus and Itabus, with stops at Genova Piazza Principe or Genova Brignole.

From either station, follow the train directions above to reach the Jean Nouvel Pavilion.

For those traveling by car, here are the main access routes:

From Milan/Turin: Take the A7 motorway, exit at Genova Ovest, then follow signs for Fiera di Genova or Piazzale Kennedy.
From Florence/Rome: Take the A12, exit at Genova Est, continue towards Via Canevari, Viale Brigate Partigiane and Corso Marconi.
From Nice/Ventimiglia: Follow the A10, exit at Genova Ovest, and proceed towards the seafront.

Parking Options

  • Piazzale Kennedy Parking (paid, closest to the venue)
  • Fiera Parking Area (paid, a few steps from the Pavilion)
  • Street parking is limited; we recommend arriving early or using public transport when possible.

If you are staying near Piazzale Kennedy, Corso Italia, or the Porto Antico area, the pavilion is within a 10–15 minute walk along the seafront.

The Jean Nouvel Pavilion is a modern glass structure facing the sea, easily recognizable within the Fiera di Genova complex.

Genoa offers bike and e-scooter sharing services such as Dott and Helbiz.

The seafront route is mostly flat and safe, but be aware of traffic near Corso Marconi and Piazzale Kennedy.

Useful tips:

  • Public Transport: Use Google Maps or Moovit for real-time directions.
  • Tickets: AMT bus tickets cost €2.00 (for 110 minutes) and are available at Tabacchi shops or via the AMT app.
  • Rush Hours: Avoid traveling between 08:00–09:30 and 17:00–19:00 when traffic is heavier.
  • Taxis: Official city taxis are white with a “TAXI” sign and meter display.
